Biology of water frogs

This sections needs big expansions (additions of sections like Morphology, Evolution, Behavior, Ecology), which hopefully happens soon.
Look at different water frog species and listen to their mate attraction calls.
SPECIES Species list List of species with some descriptions and further links to phylogeny and species descriptions including pictures, distribution and voices.
SPECIES Hybrids are very common in this group of frogs. Some of them are persistent in time (see hybridogenetic hybrids)
Read abstracts of recent projects, the list is growing and already quite big, if you search for something specific use our site search mechanism.
